Bingo don't victim shame in any crime, Crimes against males required
correctly saidLonely, upsetting, despondent men. That's this scams target demographic and several of them out there.
Those are the same time offing themselves at epidemic levels.
I wonder if people also believe the men that commit suicide also "earned it" website marketing,in order to be so lonely and depressed?
Suicide is never response. at any time. It is heartbreaking people feel they have no choice.
I'm in the demographic you mentioned, I could certainly see how it happens if my wife / kids walked out the door never to be seen again I would not do well at all.
It's easy to say these victims are foolish for falling for all of these scams when you are not in their shoes. whenever it doesn't involve you or chnlove scam anyone you know. as i've already explained, most of these folks are very lonely and/or depressed. Unless you have been there, you mustn't make assumptions as to where they are mentally. People can easily make mistakes if they are struggling. when someone starts showing interest, Saying all of the right things (These con artists usually often follow a script) It can suddenly be very exciting for someone looking for companionship. These people feel joy and hope they probably haven't felt shortly. The scammers don't pull these materials off over night. They often reassure the victim for many months, Sometimes years before they start seeking money. It feels like a real correlation for the victim. They think they know responsibility, Promises are made and they are blinded by the possibilities. Often the scammers tell the victims not to tell friends and relations about their relationship. It's not until later, Once the victim is quite definitely involved (In fall in love with), And funds happen to have been transferred before someone close to them finds out and tries to intervene. Sometimes these individuals don't have anyone to look out for them at all. I recently read about a bank teller trying to halt suspicious money transfers when they felt something was off with one of their elderly clients. The victim was coached to tell friends and folks at the bank a specific story/lie so they didn't catch on to what is actually happening.
many people didn't look to give away their money to a scammer. they just thought they had found love. certain, Many of folks would have seen the red flags. But if you're sad and lonely, you're not always thinking straight. my spouse and i it's sad. It's not just men who are influenced by these scams. I know girls (widow) Who was also targeted.
